Effective date: 24 August 2026 Last updated: 24 August 2026 Application: Mystic Water Sort (Android)

This document is also shown inside the app under Settings → About → About & Privacy. If you change one, change the other: the in-app copy lives in app/src/main/java/com/example/presentation/screens/AboutScreen.kt.

Mystic Water Sort does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.

The app has no internet access. It does not declare the Android INTERNET permission, so it is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking SDKs, and no third-party services of any kind.

Everything the game remembers — your level, your coins, your settings — is stored only in the app’s private storage on your own device.

We do not collect, request, access, or process any of the following:

•Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any account identifiers

•Advertising IDs, device IDs, or any persistent tracking identifier

•Location data (coarse, fine, or approximate)

•Contacts, calendar, call logs, or SMS

•Photos, camera, microphone, or files from your device

•Installed application lists

•Usage analytics, behavioural telemetry, or crash reports

•Payment or billing information (the app contains no purchases)

The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile.

The game keeps a small amount of gameplay state so it can remember where you left off. This data never leaves your device except through the Android backup mechanism described in Section 5.Stored in a private database (mystic_water_sort_database):DataPurposeCurrent level number Resume the campaign where you stopped Coin balance

Stored in the app’s cache directory:

•Short generated .wav sound files (selection, pour, sorted vial, undo, blocked tap, coin spend, victory, background music) – one set per sound pack you have tried. These are synthesised by the app itself at first launch and whenever you pick a new sound pack. They contain no recordings, no microphone input, and no personal content, and Android may clear them at any time.

None of this data is personal information under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws, and none of it is transmitted off the device by the app.

The app declares exactly one Android permission:

•android.permission.VIBRATE — used only to produce a short buzz when you pour a liquid, and only while “Haptic Feedback” is enabled in Settings. This permission cannot read anything from your device.

The app does not declare the INTERNET permission, so it cannot open a network connection.

The app allows Android’s standard backup system (android:allowBackup=”true”). This means your saved game data described in Section 3 may be included in:

•Your device’s Google account backup, if you have Android Backup enabled, and

•A device-to-device transfer when you set up a new phone or tablet.

This copying is performed by the Android operating system and Google, not by us. We never receive, access, or read those backups. Their handling is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and your device’s backup settings, which you control in your system settings.

If you do not want your game data included in a backup, disable backup for this app in your Android system settings.

Mystic Water Sort is a puzzle game suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information whatsoever, and has no internet access, advertising, or social features, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). It is designed to comply with COPPA and the GDPR provisions concerning children’s data by not gathering such data at all.

•No advertising networks or ad SDKs

•No analytics or attribution SDKs

•No crash or performance reporting services

•No social network integrations or share targets

•No third-party APIs called at runtime

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any information, because we do not hold any.

Because your data stays on your device, you remain in direct control of it at all times:

•Reset your progress: Settings → Advanced Mode → Reset Progress clears your solved chambers and daily challenge history and returns the campaign to Level 1.

•Erase everything: Uninstalling the app, or using Android’s Clear storage / Clear data option in system app settings, permanently deletes the database and cached sound files.

•Exclude from backup: Turn off backup for this app in your Android system settings.

Where laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA grant you rights of access, correction, portability, erasure, or objection, those rights apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Your local data is already fully accessible to you through the app and your device settings.

Data described in Section 3 is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed, or until you reset your progress or clear the app’s data. We operate no servers and therefore retain nothing ourselves.

Game data is written to the app’s private internal storage, which Android isolates from other applications on the device. Because no data is transmitted, there is no network transfer to intercept. Note that a rooted or compromised device can bypass Android’s isolation, which is outside our control.

If the app ever gains a feature that changes what is stored or transmitted — for example online leaderboards, cloud saves, purchases, or advertising — this policy will be updated before that feature ships, the “Last updated” date above will change, and the revised policy will be published here and inside the app.
