Summary

Drowning Whiteboard is an offline whiteboard. There is no account to create, no advertising, and no analytics. Everything you draw stays in the app’s own storage on your device. The app does not hold the internet permission, so it cannot send your boards anywhere by itself — content leaves the app only when you choose to export or share it.

What the app stores on your device

All of the following is kept in the app’s private storage and is never transmitted by the app:

•Boards — title, background pattern, paper colour, and the pan/zoom position you left them at.

•Drawing content — strokes, shapes, text, sticky notes and any images you place, together with their colours, sizes and layers.

•Save slots and automatic backups — snapshots of a board, written so that work is not lost if the app is closed unexpectedly.

•Settings — dark mode, the default canvas grid, and whether stylus pressure is used.

•Temporary export files — when you export a board, the file is written to the app’s cache directory so it can be handed to the app you pick. You can clear these at any time by clearing the app’s cache.

The app does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, device identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports.

Permissions

The app requests no Android permissions — including no internet permission. It cannot access the camera, microphone, location, contacts or your files, and it cannot make network requests.

Exporting and sharing

When you export a board as PNG, JPEG, WEBP, PDF, SVG or project JSON, the file is created in the app’s cache and passed to the Android share sheet. What happens to it next depends on the app you send it to — email, cloud storage, messaging and so on — and is covered by that app’s own privacy policy, not this one. The app itself never uploads exports.

Android backup

The app allows Android’s built-in backup. If you have device backup switched on in your Android settings, the operating system may copy the app’s data — including your boards — to your own Google account. This is a system feature: the data goes to your account, not to the developer, and is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can turn it off in your device’s system settings under Backup, or exclude this app there.

Third-party services

The app uses no third-party service that receives your data. It bundles open source libraries (AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Room, WorkManager, Moshi, Coil) and open source fonts licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or the Apache License 2.0; the licence for each font family ships inside the app and is listed under Settings → Fonts. None of these libraries collect or transmit data in this app.

Children

Because the app collects no personal data at all, it is suitable for users of any age. No information about a child — or any user — is gathered, profiled or shared.

Deleting your data

•Delete a single board from the dashboard.

•Clear everything by clearing the app’s storage in Android Settings → Apps → Drowning Whiteboard → Storage, or by uninstalling the app.

Uninstalling removes all boards, backups and settings held on the device. If Android backup is enabled, a copy may remain in your Google account until it expires or you remove it there.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts collecting or transmitting data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change. The current version is always available inside the app under Settings → About → Privacy Policy.

The short version

SoundFlow plays music stored on your device. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no crash reporting, and it collects no personal data. The one thing that leaves the phone is a lyrics lookup: the title, artist, album and length of a track that has no lyrics of its own. Turn **”Fetch lyrics online”** off in Settings and nothing is sent at all.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not build a profile of you.

What stays on your device

Your music files, cover art, playlists, favourites, play history and settings (theme, accent colour, spectrum style, equalizer values) are stored only in the app’s private storage on this phone. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Lyrics you type, paste or time yourself are also stored only on this device, and are never sent anywhere. Your own lyrics take priority and are never overwritten by an online lookup.

Music and media access

Read access to audio (`READ_MEDIA_AUDIO` on Android 13+, or storage read on Android 12 and older) is used to list and play the audio files already on your device. Files are read for playback only — never copied, uploaded or modified.

On Android 9 and older, write access (`WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`) is used only when you choose to delete a track. On Android 10 and newer, deletion goes through the system’s own MediaStore confirmation.

Microphone permission

Android’s audio `Visualizer` API requires the `RECORD_AUDIO` permission to read the levels of the track that is currently playing. It is used only to draw the on-screen spectrum.

**No audio is recorded, stored or transmitted, and the microphone input itself is never read.** The permission is requested only when you tap the Spectrum button in the player — not at launch. If you decline it, a non-reactive animation is shown instead and every other part of the app keeps working.

Notifications

The notification permission (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`) is used for the playback notification and its media controls while a song is playing. No promotional or marketing notifications are ever sent.

Online lyrics

Lyrics are read first from the audio file’s own tags, and then from a `.lrc` file sitting next to it. When a track has neither, and **”Fetch lyrics online”** is on, the track’s **title, artist, album and length** are sent to:

– **lrclib.net** — general lyrics lookup

– **ebanglalibrary.com** — Bengali title lookup

Nothing else is sent: no account, no device identifier, no email address, no location, and no list of what you own or play. Requests use HTTPS.

Results are cached on this device so the same track is only ever looked up once. This setting is **on by default** and can be switched off at any time in Settings, after which the app makes **no network requests at all**. Playback itself never uses the network.

These services are operated by third parties and have their own privacy practices, which are outside our control.

Third parties

There are no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs in the app. No data is sold, and none is shared for advertising or any other purpose. The two lyrics services above receive only the track details listed there, and are the only servers the app ever contacts.

Data retention and deletion

Nothing user-identifying is stored on any server, so there is nothing to request deletion of. Everything the app keeps — library index, playlists, favorites, history, settings and cached lyrics — lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data from Android Settings.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages because it collects nothing. It is not directed at children under 13, has no user accounts, no user-to-user interaction, and no in-app purchases.

This Privacy Policy explains how Word Quest ("the App", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. It is written to meet Google Play's User Data policy, the Data safety section requirements, the Families / Designed for Families expectations, and applicable privacy laws including the EU/UK GDPR, COPPA, and the CCPA/CPRA.

1. Summary (plain language)
Word Quest is a fully offline, single-player word puzzle game.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The App:
- requests no Android permissions at all (including no INTERNET permission — it physically cannot make a network request),
- has no user accounts, no login, and no backend server,
- contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, and no in-app purchases or billing,
- keeps everything it stores in the App's private storage on your device.
There is no server-side copy of anything about you, because there is no server.

2. Scope of This Policy
This policy covers the Word Quest Android application distributed through Google Play. It does not cover:
- Google Play itself, Google Play services, or your Google Account — those are governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy);
- your device manufacturer's or carrier's software;
- any third-party website you may reach by leaving the App.

3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, request, access, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal info (name, email, phone, address, user IDs): No

Nothing in the App is transmitted off your device, so nothing is "collected" or "shared" under Google Play's definitions of those terms.

4. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To make the game work, the App saves the following only on your device, inside its private app storage that other apps cannot read:
- Display name, avatar, and country you pick in Profile — shown back to you inside the App; cosmetic only, self-chosen, never verified or transmitted. Leaves device: No.
- Game progress (level, XP, coins, win/loss stats, streaks, unlocked themes and achievements) — lets the game remember your progress between sessions. Leaves device: No.
- Saved / in-progress puzzles — lets you resume a puzzle where you left off. Leaves device: No.
- Daily Challenge and daily-reward timestamps — enforces the once-per-day challenge and streak calendar. Leaves device: No.
- Settings (sound, music, haptics, selected theme, high-contrast and large-text accessibility toggles) — remembers your preferences. Leaves device: No.

Important: The Profile name, avatar, and country are freeform cosmetic choices you make locally. We never see them. Please do not enter real personal details (full name, email, phone number, address) into the Profile field — the App does not need them for any feature.

This data is stored with Android Room (https://developer.android.com/training/data-storage/room) (a local SQLite database) in the App's sandboxed private directory.

5. Android Auto Backup (Your Google Drive)
The App has Android Auto Backup enabled (allowBackup="true" in the manifest), which is the Android platform default. If you have Google Drive backup switched on in your device settings, Android — not the App — may copy the App's local data (the items listed in §4) into your own private Google Drive backup, so your progress is restored when you reinstall or switch devices.
- This transfer is performed by the Android operating system, not by code in the App.
- The backup lives in your Google account, is end-to-end handled by Google, and is not accessible to us.
- It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's backup terms.
To opt out: turn off backup for this app in Android Settings → Google → Backup (path varies by device/OEM), or disable Google Drive backup entirely.

6. Permissions
Word Quest declares zero install-time and zero runtime permissions in its Android manifest. It does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, notifications, or network access.
Because there is no INTERNET permission, the App is technically incapable of sending data anywhere — to us or to any third party.

7. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App integrates no third-party SDK that collects, receives, or processes user data.
- Advertising networks (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, etc.): No — None
- Analytics (Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.): No — None
- Crash reporting (Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, etc.): No — None
- Google Play Billing / in-app purchases: No — None
- Attribution / MMP SDKs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, etc.): No — None
- Social login or social SDKs: No — None
- Cloud backend / leaderboard server: No — None

For transparency: the project's Gradle build file imports the Firebase Bill of Materials (BOM) — a version-pinning entry only. No Firebase product library is enabled, and the app ships without a google-services.json configuration file, so no Firebase service runs, is initialized, or receives any data. Networking libraries (OkHttp, Retrofit) are present in the dependency catalog but are commented out and not compiled into the released app.

8. Advertising and Monetization
- The App does not display ads and contains no ad SDK.
- The App does not use the Advertising ID and does not build advertising or marketing profiles.
- The App has no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no real-money transactions. Coins are a purely virtual, in-game currency earned by playing; they have no real-world value and cannot be bought or cashed out.
- A "Watch Video for Coins" button is visible but disabled and labeled "Coming Soon" — it runs no ad code.
If a future release introduces ads or purchases, we will update this policy, update the in-app policy screen, and update the Google Play Data safety and Ads declarations before that release ships.

9. Children's Privacy
Word Quest contains no violent, sexual, profane, gambling, or other age-restricted content, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), because we collect no personal information at all.
- There is no advertising, no behavioral profiling, no third-party data sharing, and no social/chat feature that could expose a child to other users.
- We comply with COPPA and Google Play's Families policy by design: there is simply no data pipeline off the device.
Parents or guardians who are concerned about locally stored gameplay data can erase all of it at any time (see §11).

10. Data Security
- All App data stays in Android's per-app private storage sandbox, which other installed apps cannot access.
- The release build is signed, minified, and resource-shrunk (R8/ProGuard).
- Because no data is transmitted, there is no data-in-transit exposure and no encryption-in-transit question to answer — there is no transit.
- On devices with a screen lock, Android's file-based encryption also encrypts the App's data at rest.
No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, but the attack surface here is limited to your own device.

11. Data Retention and Deletion
We hold no data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Local data persists on your device until you remove it.
You can delete 100% of the App's data at any time:
1. Uninstall Word Quest, or
2. Go to Android Settings → Apps → Word Quest → Storage → Clear data.
Either action permanently erases your profile, progress, saved puzzles, and settings from the device.
Account deletion: the App has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server-side records, so Google Play's account-deletion requirement does not apply. There is no remote copy to request the deletion of.
If Android Auto Backup copied your data to your Google Drive (§5), delete that backup from Google Drive → Backups, or disable backup for this app.

12. Your Privacy Rights
Because we do not collect or process any personal data, we hold nothing to access, correct, export, restrict, or erase. Nevertheless:
- EU / UK (GDPR): we are not a data controller of any personal data from your use of this App. No processing means no legal basis is required, no international data transfers occur, and there is no data protection officer contact needed. All rights under Articles 15–22 are satisfied locally — you hold and control the only copy of your data.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information. There is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism because there is nothing to sell or share.
- Other jurisdictions: the same applies — no collection, no processing, no transfer.

2. update the in-app Settings → Privacy Policy screen,
3. update the Google Play Data safety form and Ads declaration before that version is published,
4. where required by law, obtain your consent in-app.
Material changes will be reflected in the hosted policy URL listed on our Google Play store listing.

Aamar Browser has no servers and no user accounts. We do not collect, transmit or sell any personal information. Everything the browser remembers is stored only on your device.

1. Information we collect

None. The developer of Aamar Browser receives no data about you or your browsing. There is no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporting service in the app.

2. Data stored on your device

To provide browser features, the app stores the following in its private, sandboxed storage that other apps cannot read:

• Browsing history — page titles, addresses and visit counts.
• Bookmarks and home-screen favourite sites.
• Saved passwords — encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore, which never leaves the device.
• Settings — search engine, theme, text size, toolbar position, proxy and DNS preferences.
• Web page data — cookies, cache and site storage created by the sites you visit.

Incognito tabs do not write history, and their cache, cookies and site storage are discarded when the tab is closed.

3. Connections the browser makes

Some features necessarily contact third parties. Each one is listed here, along with what is sent:

• Websites you visit — requests go directly to those sites. Their own privacy policies apply.
• Search engine — your query is sent to the engine selected in Settings (DuckDuckGo by default).
• Search suggestions — as you type in the address bar, the partial text is sent to DuckDuckGo’s suggestion service. It is never stored by this app.
• Custom DNS — when DNS-over-HTTPS is enabled, the host names of sites you open are sent to the DoH provider you choose. Their privacy policy governs those queries.
• Custom proxy — when enabled, your traffic is routed through the proxy server you configure. Only enable proxies you trust.
• Translate page — choosing a language opens Google Translate with the current page address in a normal tab.
• Site icons — favicons are fetched from the sites themselves to display in tabs and lists.

4. Permissions and why they are needed

• Internet and network state — to load web pages.
• Camera — only when you open the QR code scanner. Scanning runs entirely on the device and no image is stored or uploaded.
• Storage — to save files you download to your Downloads folder.

Sites may also request location, camera or microphone access for their own features; those prompts come from the site, not from the browser.

5. Children’s privacy

Aamar Browser is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app collects nothing at all, there is no such data to delete.

6. Your control over your data

You can clear browsing data at any time from Settings, delete individual history entries, bookmarks, downloads and saved passwords, and turn tracker blocking, Do Not Track, HTTPS upgrade, custom DNS and the proxy on or off. Uninstalling the app removes all of its stored data from your device.

7. Security

Saved passwords are encrypted using AES via the Android Keystore. Enabling HTTPS Upgrade forces encrypted connections where a site supports them, and enabling custom DNS encrypts your name look-ups so your network provider cannot see which sites you request. No security measure is perfect, and the browser cannot protect data you enter on a website you have chosen to trust.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will ship with a new release of the app and the date at the top of this page will change.
